VITE (Vectron International Technology Express)
offers quick delivery on crystals and crystal oscillator products.
Norwalk, CT; Vectron International, a subsidiary of Dover Technologies, announced today that
it has established a new company to market frequency control products worldwide. Most products
will be manufactured by a select group of Vectron International world class partners and
suppliers in the Far East.
The new company – "VITE - Vectron International Technology Express" will focus on
providing high volume, competitively priced, standard crystals and crystal oscillator products,
manufactured both here in the USA and in the Far East, and will target OEM's (Original Equipment
Manufacturers) of electronic equipment who need extremely fast delivery. Products in the VITE
portfolio include Crystals, Clock Oscillators, and a selected range of TCXO's, VCXO's, OCXO's
and Crystal Filters.
The new company, headed by Ron Stephens, formerly General Manager of the Vectron Labs Division
of VI, will be headquartered in Norwalk, CT, and have sales offices on both the East and West
Coast. Recognizing the need for local supply and quick delivery, the company also plans an
extensive inventory of standard parts offering 24-hour delivery from their central warehouse
in Olathe, KS. The new company will differentiate itself in the marketplace by offering their
customers excellent quality, quick service and competitively priced products. VITE also intends
to promote itself via the Internet (
www.viteonline.com), providing customers a comprehensive
source of information for any of their frequency control needs.
With the creation of "VITE", Vectron International expands its presence into the
Value Added Re-Sale market and now offers one of the widest ranges of Frequency Control Products
available – from low cost commercial crystal products to Space Qualified components.
The Vectron International group designs, manufactures and markets frequency generation and
control products using the very latest techniques in both standard crystal and surface acoustic
wave (SAW) based designs from DC to microwave frequencies. Products include crystals and crystal
oscillators; SAW filters and components; and clock and data recovery products used in
telecommunication, data communication and Space applications.
