Financial Analyst

Description:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information. This position is located in our Hudson, New Hampshire headquarters. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and analyze monthly financial reporting for all Vectron Operating Facilities.
  • Prepare monthly consolidations and reporting to parent corporation.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial reporting for internal management.
  • Analyze and consolidate monthly financial results comparing to budgets and forecasts.
  • Consolidate and analyze monthly global forecast.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of periodic financial reports for senior management and parent company.
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and operating plans.
  • Prepare quarterly analysis related to competitors and customers.
  • Assist with financial analysis for special projects and ad-hoc analysis for all levels of management.
  • Assist senior management with modeling and analysis of proposed business decisions including the impact on cash flow an operating results.

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in business and /or financial analysis in a manufacturing company.
  • Experience with Khalix and/or Oracle a plus.

Sr. Accountant - VITE

Description:
The Sr. Accountant - VITE is responsible for applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and preparing financial reports for the VITE Operation. This position is located in our Hudson, New Hampshire headquarters. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Full General Ledger responsibility for VITE Operation including analyzing financial information, preparing journal entries and review of P & L.
  • Analyzing financial information detailing assets, liabilities and equity, and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company (VITE) financial position.
  • Analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Auditing contracts, orders, and vouchers and preparing reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
  • Establishing, modifying, documenting and coordinating implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Audit preparation, both financial and internal control (Sarbanes-Oxley).
  • Monthly analysis and investigation of purchase price variances and impacts of foreign exchange.
  • Preparation and responsibility for monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Supporting the monthly closing process in Oracle and reporting monthly/annual management reporting utilizing Khalix, Dover's Financial Reporting System.
  • Assisting with the annual budget process.
  • Cross training and acting as a back up to Hudson's Finance team as necessary.

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance with 4 to 6 years progressive experience in Finance either in public accounting or in private industry preferable with a larger size company.
  • Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Experience with fully integrated ERP system is required.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Oracle a plus.
  • International finance experience is strongly desired.
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is strongly desired.
  • Overseas travel required.

Responsibilities:
The position requires an individual capable of designing and developing new generation of timing modules. The person will be involved in all phases of new product development life-cycle from market definition through to production release. This includes the definition, design and simulation, validation, and qualification of new products. The detailed responsibilities include programming software and hardware for embedded systems.

Education:
BSEE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Experience/Skills:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in the networking industry as a design engineer.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in programming FPGA.
  • Experience in programming in C language.
  • Excellent working knowledge of IP protocols.
  • Experience in a commercial manufacturing environment.

Instrumentation Engineer

Education:
Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Special Skills:
The job candidate will have a demonstrated practical knowledge of the functional implications of various amplifier and converter implementations on overall systems performance. The applicant will be able to anticipate the parasitic element effects of these systems and other system level layout and assembly issues as they relate to the instrumentation portion of the product. Experience with automotive or MIL temperature range instrumentation is highly desired. Experience with SPICE models is also desired. Strong organizational skills, a demonstrated, self-starter ability and the discipline to guide projects in a positive direction are required. Good communication and documentation skills are necessary and the ability to analyze and interpret data is a must.

The SenGenuity Engineering group develops sensor elements, RF circuits, instrumentation, and embedded systems which are integrated to provide embedded sensor modules for OEM customers. A position exists for an electronics engineer with practical experience with RF amplifiers, oscillators, sources, detectors and their integration with instrumentation amplifiers, operational amplifier circuits and analog-to-digital converters. While the specific requirements of the position involve various linear and non-linear design of high impedance, low signal level data acquisition and instrumentation systems, the ideal candidate will also be able to with an embedded systems designer to form an integrated product development team.

Product Engineer - Prototypes

Description:
The Product Engineer will be responsible for processing customer requests for samples through the oscillator Product Development Line (PDL). This position will be the main point of contact for Sales and Marketing with regard to sample requests and will be responsible for the structuring of new sample configurations. The individual will maintain and report metrics (on-time delivery, cycle time, etc) on PDL performance. This position has supervisory responsibility for the production associates who make up this group and will coordinate the daily efforts of these personnel.

This position will also support Product Engineering from product concept into production. Individual will support the entire production flow and must be familiar with all of the production processes (i.e. wafer fabrication, die attach, wire bond, seam welding, testing etc). Position will also have input to throughput, cycle time and yield enhancements.

Requirements:
This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills as well as excellent cross-functional communication skills. The position requires the ability to interface with the Sales and Marketing, Product Development and Production organizations to bring the customers requests for samples from a concept into production. The ability to analyze device performance using statistical methodologies to improve manufacturing yields is highly beneficial. Knowledge of basic circuit theory and basic oscillator operation is advantageous. A working knowledge of MS Access, SQL Databases and ERP systems (Oracle or similar) is helpful.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (EE preferred) and 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Description:
Senior Manufacturing / Process Engineer with experience developing and sustaining manufacturing processes for microelectronics component and Hybrid products. The individual in this role must have expertise in prototyping, manufacturing process development, precision assembly and volume manufacturing.

Requirements:
BS in engineering / science and 5-10 years experience in microelectronics components / hybrid manufacturing is required. Solid knowledge of data analysis techniques, Six Sigma methodology, process capability analysis, DOE, PFMEA and SPC is required. Experience in frequency generation / control component (BAW / SAW oscillators) manufacturing is desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands on engineer to support production assembly operations including epoxy attach, eutectic soldering, wire bonding and packaging of hermetic components.
  • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, processes and procedures.
  • Analyzes manufacturing space requirement, workflow, workspace and designs facility and equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
  • Researches and purchases automated process equipment utilizing cost justification techniques.

  • Develops Drawings, visual aides and manufacturing documentation.
  • Works with vendors to qualify, materials and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Performs failure mode analysis and implements corrective action.

Senior Business Analyst - Operations

Description: This position will serve as the primary liaison between IT and the global network of plants within the multiple areas and business units of Vectron.

The Senior Business Analyst will be the primary liaison between IT and the global network of plants within the multiple areas and business units of Vectron. The role will interact significantly with the Global Process Leads in the Supply Chain space and with Plant MES leads in each plant. An important responsibility will be to identify business process and practices that could be added, modified or changed. The business analyst will be responsible to document business requirements, develop project deliverables, obtain approval and monitor system response to requirements including testing, training and implementation support. This will help Vectron streamline business processes, reduce duplicated efforts, eliminate processes that add no value and as a result save Vectron money. Another core responsibility will be ongoing Maintenance of the Oracle Manufacturing and related modules of the overall Oracle eBusiness Suite. This position will rely on the qualified candidate's functional knowledge of manufacturing operations business processes, Project, Information technologies and the ability to look at issues and develop options on how to solve them.
